Fluence enables the new generation of cloud infrastructure that is owned and controlled by the community. Crowdsourcing intellectual capacity from a broad community helps to make the best decisions, move quickly, and safeguard project values over the long-term.
The Fluence DAO was established to collectively manage the project via decentralized governance. It is a digital organization on the Ethereum blockchain tied with open Swiss Association which protects voters from liability.
What are FLIPs?
Fluence Improvement Proposals (FLIPs) are documents that describe standards for the Fluence ecosystem and the processes through which the Fluence community introduces, finds consensus on, and implements changes to Fluence.
Authors use FLIPs to propose changes, understand and document community sentiment around the proposed changes, as well as to provide technical specifications and implementations of suggested upgrades.
